自然条件  气象: 风况:常风向NNE,次常风向SSW,强风向E,年平均风速5米/秒。  降水:防城港地处低纬度地区,受海洋和十万大山山脉的共同影响,雨量较充足。该地区降水主要集中每年的6~9月份,占全年降水量的71%左右,年最大降水量为3111.9毫米,年最少降水量为1745.6毫米,多年平均降水量是2362.6毫米;一日最大降水量为244.1毫米,日平均降水量在25毫米的每年为26.5天。年平均雷暴日数为85.2天。  雾况:雾日较少,年平均10.9天,常发生在冬末春初的清晨,一般延续2-3小时,日出雾散。  气温:防城港地处亚热带,冬无严寒,夏无酷暑,气候宜人,年平均气温为22.5℃。  冰况:防城港地处亚热带,无结冰现象。   水文:  潮汐:潮汐属正规全日潮,最高潮位5.52米,最大潮差5.39米,平均高潮位为3.7米,全年潮高3米以上的有315天。  潮流:防城港的海流主要有潮流和防城河流以及风浪流共同影响构成。防城湾入海河流主要是防城河,其主流沿渔万岛的西侧经牛头岭出海,另一支经渔万岛北端海峡流入暗埠江。防城河多年平均流量为58.7立方米/秒,由于河床地势平缓,入海口流域面积宽广,流速极缓慢;防城河只有在台风影响的短短几天内,对海流造成一些影响,其余的时间都是风平浪静,对海流的影响甚微,即防城港的潮流在海流中占主导地位。湾内涨潮流速慢,落潮流速快,涨潮最大流速约为0.4~0.6米/秒,落潮最大速度为0.6~0.9米/秒。航道口外三牙石灯塔附近为逆时针回转流,其余各处均为与航道基本一致的往复流。  波浪:防城港由于东面有企沙半岛,西面有江山白龙半岛两道天然屏障,港风风平浪静。只有在每年6~9月份的台风季节才有4~5级波浪,但次数不多。一般平均波高为0.5米,常波向为北北东,出现频率为21%左右,次长波向为南东、南、北东,出现频率分别为16.4%、15.4%和12.8%。强波方向为南南西,次强波浪方向为南东。风暴时产生的最大波高为7米。    交通状况  防城港水陆交通便捷,是广西及西南各省市水陆联运的交通枢纽。海路与我国沿海及世界各国各地区港口相联。距我国海口港174海里、湛江港317海里、广州港542海里、香港476海里;距越南鸿基港132海里、海防港151海里。是我国离越南最近的港口。公路通东兴、钦州,接南宁高速公路贯通全国公路网,距离南宁143千米、钦州53千米、北海153千米、东兴70千米。铁路通过南防线经南昆、湘桂、黔桂、京广铁路同全国铁路干线联网。民用航空经南宁可中转全国各主要城市。      经济腹地  南昆铁路投入营运后,大西南的云、贵、川、桂及重庆市的货物将便捷地通过防城港中转世界各地。防城港直接的经济腹地为广西防城港市和钦州市以及广西壮族自治区内南昆铁路线沿红水河以南地区,及广西百色市、南宁市、南宁地区西南部分。间接的经济腹地为广西区内的其它地区以及云南省、贵州省、四川省、重庆市的西南部和华中地区的湖南、湖北、河南等省的西部地区。  在防城港经济腹地内,有南亚热带气候资源,有农林海洋资源和丰富的矿产;在间接经济腹地内,有着丰富的矿产资源,其中有50多种矿藏储量居全国前10位。腹地资源的开发、运输、利用,都为防城港提供了充足的货源。     港区分布及泊位情况  防城港拥有泊位28个,其中万吨级以上深水泊位14个,设计最大靠泊能力5万吨级,年实际通过能力超过2500万吨,专用集装箱泊位年通过能力25万TEU。20万吨级矿石码头即将建成。     助航信息  航   道: 防城港现航道长6.1公里,分三牙、西贤、牛头三段,底宽  125m,底标高-9.5m,正在建设中的航道工程到2005年底完工后,三牙段底宽160m、底标高-16m,西贤、牛头段底宽125m,底标高-11m。  锚   地:  (1)0号锚地为引航、检疫锚地。它以21°27′56″N,108°21′13″E为圆心,半径为1000米圆圈内的水域,水深-12米以上。  (2)1号锚地为大型船舶待泊及避风锚地,位于0号锚地以北,该锚地设有10个锚位,编号为B1~B10,每个锚位的半径为450米,水深在-12米以上,是泥沙和粘土底质。  联系: 地址:广西防城港市港口区友谊大道22号 邮编:538001 电话:0770-2892243 网址:www.fcport.com

Information and contact details for Port of Fangcheng in Fangcheng, Guangxi - China Fangchenggang Port Located in the very south west of the coast line of China, Fangchenggang Port is one of the 25 main sea ports in China. It is the largest port in West China and serves as the main sea passage for the Great Southwest China to connect the Asean area and the world. A. Port Statue: Fangchenggang Port now has 28 productive ports, including 14 with designed dwt over 10000 tons each. The output in 2005 is over 20 million metric tons. The shipments in Fangcheng Port are distinguished in: 1) Most cargo are of international trade, over 85% of the output 2) Most cargo is from or to the Great Southwest China, over 80% of the output 3) Most cargo are large quantity of bulk or general cargo, including iron ore, phosphate powder, barite, sulphur, alumina powder, coal, steel products, fertilizer and industrial salt, etc. But with the development of the container shipments, the percentage of the container cargo is also growing up. from or to the Great Southwest China, over 80% of the output The actual handling capacity of Fangchenggang Port surpasses 25 million mts per year. Traffic condition: Fangcheng Port is close to Guizhou Province and Sichuan Province in the North, close to Yunnan Province in the West, close to Guangdong Province, Hainan Province, Hong Kong and Macau in the East, facing the Beibu Gulf in the South. It is the key point to connect our great Southwest China, which is rich in recourses, to the Southeast Asia, whose economy is enlivening. The sea and land transportation are both convenient for Fangcheng Port. The Nanning-Fangcheng expressway reaches Fangchenggang Port, which connect the road to the Southwest China and the road transportation net of the whole China. By Nanning-Fangcheng railway and Litang-Qinzhou railway, Fangcheng Port also connects the railway net of the whole country. Geographical Position: Located in the north of Beibu Gulf, in the south of Guangxi Province, with Longitude 21 37' 56'' N, latitude 108 21'13'' E. The water area of Fangchenggang Port is surrounded by hills in 3 sides, just like an inland lake and it is good for wind sheltering. The channel is not long, the port sea area and port land are wide, and the useful coast line are long. Fangchenggang Port is of superior geographical position and high strategic condition. E. Natural Condition: 1. Climate Temperature: The annual average temperature is 22.5(deg. C). The annual extreme high temperature is 36.5(deg. C). The maximum temperature mostly happens in July when the average is 27.6(deg. C)-29.1(deg. C). The annual extreme low temperature is 2.8(deg. C), mostly appears in the end of winter and beginning of spring. Rainfall: About 71% of rainfall is in June to September. The annual maximum rainfall is 3,111.9mm and the minimum is 1,745.6mm, the annual average rainfall is 2,362.6mm. Daily maximum rainfall reaches 244.1 mm. In one year, there are about 26.5 days with average daily rainfall 25mm. In one year, there are averagely 85.2 days with thunderstorm. Wind: The normal wind direction is North North East, about 30.5% for one year. 8.4% are West South. 4.7% are east strong wind. The wind force is normally not strong inside the port area because the sea area is surrounded by hills. The average annual wind speed is 5m/s, the highest speed reaches 20m/s. The tropical storm comes once per year in average n 3 times per year at most, which appeared in June to September mostly and the wind force can reach grade 8 to grade 10. The strong wind normally last for half day or one day, at most 2 days. Fog: Foggy days are rare, about 10 days in a year in average. It recorded 23 days of foggy days in maximum in a year and 4 days in minimum. Fog normally appear in the evening or early morning in the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Dense fog seldom appears. The morning fog normally last 2-3 hours and will disperse in sunrise. 2. Hydrology Tide: Irregular mixed semi-diurnal tide. Averagely, neap tide comes forth for 6-8 days and the other days come regular diurnal tide per month. The grand tide and mid tide are both regular diurnal tide and the neap tide is irregular semi-diurnal tide. In the period of the diurnal tide, the highest tide rises up to 5.54m; the average high tide reaches 3.82m, maximum tide difference is 5.39m, and the average tide difference is over 4.5m. The tide rising period lasts 15 hours and the tide falling period lasts 9 hours, which is good for the channel dredging. In the period of the semidiurnal tide, the tidal range is less than 1 m; the lowest tide is 0.79m. The tide last 2 hours in one year record: 2.8m, 338 days. 3m, 315 days. 3.5m, 251 days. 4m, 140 days. 4.5m, 28 days. Tideway: The sea current in Fangchenggang Port is constituted and affected by the sea tide, river current and wind current. The river names Fangcheng River, which affects the sea current in typhoon period for several days and it affects the sea current slightly in normal days. The sea tide governs the sea current. When the tide rises, the current speed is slow with maximum speed 0.4-0.6m/second. When the tide falls, the current speed is higher with maximum speed 0.6-0.9m/second. The reversing current direction fits the channel direction mostly except there is anticlockwise rotary current near the Sanya light house outside the channel entrance. Wave: With the Qisha Peninsula in the east and Jiangshan Bailong Peninsula in the west, the sea water in port area normally appears calm. There are wave with grade 4-5 in typhoon period in July to September but appeared not often. The normal average wave height is 0.5 m; normal direction is North East, 21% in a year. 16.4% towards South East. 15.4% towards South and 12.8% towards North East. Rough sea is towards South South West. The secondary rough sea is towards South East. The highest wave height can be 7 m in storm. F. Hinterland: With the operations of Nanning-Kunming railway, the cargo from Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangxi and Chongqing can be transported to Fangchenggang Port and then to be carried there to the world. The direct hinterland of Fangchenggang Port is Fangchenggang City, Qinzhou City, the south area by Hongshui River along Nanning-Kunming Railway inside Guangxi Province, Baise, Nanning, the southwest area of Nanning Region. The indirect hinterland is the other area in Guangxi Province, the whole Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province, Sichuan Province, the southwest area of Chongqing Municipality and the west part of the Mid China. In the said direct hinterland, there are rich resources like farming, forestry and sea products and minerals. In the indirect hinterland, the mineral reserves are even famous; more than 50 kinds of minerals are listed top 10 in China. Abundant cargoes are transported to and from the hinterland incessantly. G. Development Prospect. In recent years, Fangchenggang Port continues to build specific berths, warehouse, loading/discharging lines and the facilities for cargo processing, bagging, delivering and information handling. Now berth 13-17 is under construction, with designed dwt 50,000 mts-70,000 mts each. A 200,000-tonnage-berth is partly into use, in which many cape size vessels have conducted lightening. The lightening capacity reaches 20,000mt per day. The port construction promotes the trade and logistics in Fangchenggang Port. The business of sugar, edible oil, soybean, phosphate and sulphur products, fertilizer, barite and iron ore are abundant. The markets of wholesale, retail and deliver of the sugar, edible oil, metal mineral and nonmetal mineral have appeared preliminarily. The pattern of Cargo yard + Cargo Market is into reality. The main sea gate for the Great Southwest China is becoming wider and wider.
